The Best Herbs For Energy

By Frank Brown

There are some times when one would just feel randomly tired during the day while he is at work or at school which is probably an indicator that he is overworked. Now when this happens, one would feel really drained, sleepy, and of course too tired to continue working. Now when this happens, one can actually take herbs for energy instead of drinking coffee so that he does not need to suffer the effects of coffee.

Of course if one has heard about herbs, then he has probably heard about the most well known one which is ginseng. Now this is arguably the most popular one which has many properties in it that can actually give people that sudden adrenaline boost. It is because of this that commercial energy drinks these days make use of the manufactured version of ginseng.

Now second on the list would be its equally popular but not mass produced sibling which is known as gingko. Now gingko is a kind of herb that is known to produce a lot of ATP in the body. Now for those who do not know what ATP is, it is a chemical that would give the brain the order to process more glucose in the body which of course in turn will give a person more strength and adrenaline.

Now for those who have jobs that would require physical movement, then probably the best one to take would be of course cordyceps. A lot of herbal supplements are made out of cordyceps because this herb is known to give people an adrenaline boost and to keep them awake. It is also known to give athletes that sudden rush of stamina which is very helpful for when they would compete.

Now a not so popular herb is known as ashwagandha which is quite an uncommon one but also very effective. Now basically what it does is that it would actually help lower the fatigue level of a person so that one can have more strength and can stay awake. The principle behind the effectiveness of this is that if it takes away the root problem of tiredness which is stress, then the whole problem will go away.

Now if one would really want a similar alternative to coffee, then one thing that he can take would be nettle tea. Nettles are filled with a lot of different vitamins and minerals that can strengthen the body ten fold. In order to make nettle tea, one just has to boil it overnight.

Now the last and the rarest one is known as the Reishi mushroom. This is an herb that has been used by the Chinese for many years already and can boost energy really fast. It can also boost the immune system of a person too.

So basically, those are some great herbs that one can take whenever he is feeling tired. The great thing about them is that they are all natural and have no negative side effects. There is also no overdose which means one can take a lot without worrying.
