Now, one cannot always find the most scrumptious and guilt pleasure dessert. Every person has a sweet tooth, and you cannot deny such fact. It might not be every day, but there are certain times in which you would think about eating something sweet. This chocolate truffle recipe that you are about to learn is very easy, so those who are new to the kitchen will not have troubles making them.

The recipe you are going to learn in this article is very simple. Its very simple, that even your kids can make this themselves. Many of you might know what chocolate truffles are, and that is what you will be learning. However, this truffle has its own twist, not the usual stuff that you can get in pastry shops. Steps. First, prepare a baking sheet by with aluminum foil. Then, in a saucepan, melt chocolate first, then put in the whipping cream and the butter next, make sure to stir it constantly. Once melted and smooth, pour it in another bowl and refrigerate for ten to fifteen minutes. Keep on stirring until it becomes thick.

Line cookie sheet and put teaspoonfuls of mixture on it. Put it again in the refrigerator for five minutes or just until they are firm enough for shaping. Make them into ball shapes and freeze it for about 30 minutes. In another saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and the shortening in low fire until smooth.

Using a fork, dip the choco balls into your melted chocolate, remove the excess chocolate by tapping. Place the coated balls in the cookie sheet and sprinkle it with some finely chopped fruits and nuts. Repeat process for the remaining mixture. For the coating to set, refrigerate it for 10 minutes and store it in an airtight container. Remove the truffle from the refrigerator 10 minutes before you serve it.

Stir it until the chocolate will melt and the texture is smooth. Add pecans, prunes, and apricots, continue stirring. Transfer your mixture into a baking dish, set aside to cool. Once it cooled down, cover it with some plastic wrap, put it in the refrigerator for about three hours until your mixture will harden, but soft enough for you to scoop. You can make the mixture in advance, that would be 2 days at least.

For a more decorative look, you might want to drizzle some white vanilla all over the truffles. This drizzle is easy to make. You just have to put some white vanilla chips in some microwavable container and microwave it. Constantly check and stir until it melts. For those who does not have any pipes, improvise and use a resealable plastic bag.
