Simple One Dish Chicken Recipes

Some recipes are too complicated if you don't have much time. You could try preparing these simple one dish chicken recipes instead. These recipes are really simple and anyone can prepare these tasty and healthy meals in no time at all. It would be great if you can get organically grown meat and veggies. In this case, your food will be even tastier.

Chicken steaks with cheese and cream. Try this simple recipe first. You will need one pound small chicken cutlets, some olive oil, one cup grated cheese and cream each, salt, pepper and a little bit of ground paprika. Spice up steaks and fry them in a pan that can be put in the oven. Simply mix the cheese and cream, lightly season the mixture and pour it over the steaks. Bake in the oven and serve with a bowl of fresh green salad.

Simple paella. For making this simple paella, you need two cups of meat, one cup of chopped onions, one green, red and yellow peppers each, a few small tomatoes, salt, pepper, olive oil and two cups of rice. Fry the onion on two spoons of oil, add the meat, fry, add the peppers cut into strips, tomatoes and rice. Add salt, pepper and herbs of your choice and add water or stock.

Wooden sticks, some meat and veggies and your favorite spices will make tasty chicken kebabs you will really love. Chop all ingredients into cubes. You could use only onion, peppers and zucchini, or add your favorite veggies in this combination. Season everything with oil, salt, pepper and spices and arrange alternately on wooden sticks. Bake in your oven or on the grill.

Drumsticks with potatoes. You need four larger drumsticks, a pound of potatoes, a small zucchini, an onion, salt, pepper, a little bit of ground red paprika and olive oil. Cut the vegetables into chunks. Bake the meat in the oven for about fifteen minutes, add the other ingredients and bake for another thirty minutes.

You could also make this really simple, but tasty creamy soup. You'll need one pound of meat cut into cubes, one cup of sliced carrot and the same amount of fresh peas, one cup of cream and some broth. Use salt and pepper for seasoning, and you will also need a small spoon of chopped dill. Cook meat and veggies until soft, add cream and chopped dill and your soup is ready to be served.

Tortillas are always welcome. This recipe is especially simple. You just need two cups of chicken cut into strips and one onion, one red pepper, one yellow pepper, one onion and cherry tomatoes. Cut peppers into thin strips. Fry half of veggies with meat strips and combine cooked and fresh ingredients on each tortilla. For seasoning, use salt and pepper only, or add your usual spices as well. Fry your meat on olive oil.

Summer plate. You need three cups of meat cut into wider straps, a carrot, a zucchini, three peppers, one larger onion, a carrot, a small egg-plant and spices of your choice. Brown the meat in olive oil, add all the vegetables cut into strips, season all with salt, pepper and herbs and bake for another few minutes. Serve with a salad and corn bread.
